Trupti quit her corporate job and founded Blue Pine Arts in Dec, 2017. She mulled our first paints and filmed her first watercolor course in her Pune apartment’s spare bedroom.

Trupti, a seasoned watercolor artist and our toughest critic, designs every BPA product as a tool for her own professional practice first, which is why discerning artists return for our superior products.

Favorite BPA color(s): I put them all in my Trupti’s Signature 24 Palette which are the ultimate mixing-colors to get most of the colors from our 100-color range.

Srishti joined us in 2018. Since then she has been Trupti’s right-hand person in BPA, but really, she’s been Trupti’s RHP her whole life as Trupti’s little sister.

Srishti oversees all aspects of our business with a passionate heart and careful attention to detail. She runs our studio and operations in Belgaum, India with boundless energy. She also handles our customer care and creates content for our socials.

She is the magic maker behind our stunning photoshoots, and is someone you’d want in your corner if you’re in a crisis.

Favorite BPA color(s): All our pastel shades because they’re so pigmented and buttery, yet soft and glowing.

Sonam is our expert paint maker. She is frighteningly good at making our multiple-pigment-paints, some of which are notoriously hard to make.

With her uncanny ability to plan things in advance, she keeps our studio on schedule, making sure that we quickly ship your BPA presents.

Sonam is a forever happy-go-lucky soul who has a gift for making everyone laugh.

Shimona is an amazing artist who is our newest team member. She joined us in June 2024 and works remotely from Delhi. Shimona manages our rave-reviewed online courses and our thriving communities on Facebook.

Shimona is the calm, organized mind that every successful team needs. She reviews all our material with a keen eye for detail and comes up with powerful insights that others often miss. She has an uncanny talent for simplifying Trupti’s workload and keeping things chill in our work.

Favorite BPA color(s): Trupti's Indigo, because of its versatility.

Satsuki is our most stringent quality inspector and she's held this title even before BPA was conceived. She has worked hard since she was a kitten to make sure you get the best quality art supplies every time. The chonkier she's become, the higher her standards have risen.

Favorite BPA color(s): Satsuki metallic shimmer watercolor, since it's her namesake.

We confidently say that we make the best, most robust brushrolls because they've been personally tested by Nokee.

She loves to munch on brush hairs and our brushroll passed the test with flying colors when Nokee did her best to bite, claw and kick it to get to the brushes, and couldn't!
